## API and MCP

An account and API key are optional. Use `list_products` for current public products and their required image slots; never infer availability from an old example or an admin-only product. Prices, delivery eligibility and supported payment assets must be checked live.

- MCP: POST https://photoprintagent.com/mcp. Connect without Authorization to call get_checkout_options, start_guest_checkout, and list_products.
- Guest: call start_guest_checkout or POST /api/guest-sessions with {}. Keep the returned token private and use it as Bearer for API requests or guestToken on MCP checkout tools.
- Existing account: sign in with Firebase, then POST /api/agent-keys with the ID token or call create_agent_key. See the guide for the direct email/password login flow.
- Payment: choose card or x402 in create_print_order. The returned private checkoutUrl opens the on-site checkout without login. Never put card numbers or passwords in MCP tool arguments.
- Approval: obtain the buyer's approval of photos, address and final quoted total and explicit acceptance of https://photoprintagent.com/terms before creating or paying for an order. Never repay or resubmit an ambiguous order.

- Crypto: Base mainnet (`eip155:8453`). Call `list_payment_assets` for currently supported Base tokens. Call `quote_crypto_payment` for the selected token, obtain approval of the exact amount, then POST `cryptoQuoteId` with both payment requests. Quotes expire after 60 seconds. Tokens settle directly to the merchant without auto-swapping. Solana mainnet is also supported when configured: token IDs solana-usdc and solana-wsol, network solana:5eykt4UsFv8P8NJdTREpY1vzqKqZKvdp. Call list_payment_assets for current readiness; require the quoted network and exact case-sensitive mint/recipient. Solana uses an SPL transaction signature, not Permit2. Native SOL is not automatically wrapped.

- Browser-free guest recipe: list_products → start_guest_checkout → create_upload + authenticated binary image POST → quote_prints → human approval → create_print_order → pay_print_order unsigned challenge → sign exact x402 v2 terms → pay_print_order with paymentSignature → get_order. Keep guestApiKey/token private. processing means the order was accepted for printing, not shipped.

Use the documented MCP endpoint directly with a compatible client. Do not claim a native connector, directory listing, OAuth flow or payment asset is available without checking its current documentation and response. Internal fulfillment identities and routing are confidential; customer updates should refer only to PhotoPrintAgent.
